How to Install the Circuit Breaker

 

Fixed type
The circuit breaker is fixed on the mounting plate of the complete set with mounting screws. Since the connecting wire must be removed when replacing the circuit breaker, the replacement of the circuit breaker takes a long time and is troublesome.

 

Insertion type
Mainly suitable for molded case circuit breakers, divided into front plate wiring and rear plate wiring. On the complete set of mounting plates, first install a circuit breaker mounting seat (there are 6 plugs on the mounting seat and 6 sockets on the circuit breaker connection plate). When using, first insert the circuit breaker directly into the mounting seat, and then fix the circuit breaker on the mounting seat with mounting screws. If the circuit breaker needs to be replaced, first remove the mounting screws and then pull them out, and then replace them. Since there is no need to remove the connecting wire when replacing, it is faster and more convenient than the fixed type. The insertion type requires a certain amount of external force when inserting and pulling out. It is generally used for circuit breakers with a frame current not exceeding 400A.

 

Withdrawable type
Mainly suitable for universal circuit breakers and molded case circuit breakers with a frame current of more than 400A. Place the circuit breaker gently on the mounting table, insert the rocker into the mounting table hole, and rotate it clockwise. Under the action of the worm gear meshing, the circuit breaker gradually comes into close contact with the mounting table terminal; to pull it out, just rotate the joystick counterclockwise. The drawer type has three positions: contact, separation, and isolation (circuit breaker is not powered), while the plug-in type has only two positions: contact and separation. Therefore, when replacing a circuit breaker, the drawer type is safer and more reliable than the plug-in type.
